ROOT sets the pitch of the whole voice, from a sub 16 Hz rumble to a 2 kHz scream, skewed so the useful drone octaves take most of the travel.
IRON, a hard metallic multi-tap comb. VEIL, a soft diffuse cloud. The same knobs feed both, so the whole voice sits inside its room.
