The thing worth being strict about is where you download from. The links above all go to the maker. Plenty of other sites offer the same plugins wrapped in an installer full of junk, and some offer cracked paid plugins that turn up with something hidden inside. If a plugin is genuinely free, the person who built it hosts it themselves, and that's the only place worth clicking.
